General:

The rivet is supplied by a compact unit. It consists of a hopper (stores the rivet), a separator (sorts the rivet and places it in the correct position) and a shooting unit that conveys the rivet to the setting head.

The TOX® FeedingUnit houses the sorting and feeding technology and ensures a safe and reliable feeding of the rivets. The unit is located outside of a robot cell and can thus be filled directly by the operator.

The components of the TOX® FeedingUnit are:

Hopper:

It is the starting point of the system and stocks larger quantities of elements. From here, the rivets enter the feeding pot.

Feeding bowl:

This ensures sorting in the correct position and passes the rivets on to the separator/feeding unit.

Separator/insertion unit:

The sorted rivets are separated here and conveyed to the setting head by the insertion unit. In most cases, the rivets are fed to the setting head by blowing air through shaped hoses.

Thanks to the modular system, the TOX® FeedingUnit can be adapted to the respective rivet and the desired processing procedure.
