Mechanical design: Robust design enables precise measuring movements
Levelling device: For precise alignment of the base plate, e.g. for inhomogeneous test objects
Operation:

1. The SAUTER HBA/HB0 hardness tester is placed in a suspended position

2. The test object is placed on the round test table directly under the measuring tip of the hardness tester

3. By pressing down the lever, the test weight is released, which then presses the measuring tip into the test object with its weight (see test force hardness measurement)

The accuracy of the measurement result with this test bench is about 25% higher than with a manual measurement
